About
TumbPix is a social discovery platform for posts, media, links, comments and community channels. It is built for people who want to discover and share topics from around the world without losing control over what appears in their personal feed.
The platform brings together communities, countries, categories and interests. You can explore news, memes, crypto, art, future technology, vintage content, gaming, sports, cars, questions, local topics and many other discussions in one place.
Discovery
Discovery is the main start page. It replaces a classic home feed with recommendations. It shows suggested posts and channels based on country filters, category filters and your selected interests.
If you choose interests during registration or later through the category search, Discovery can prefer posts and channels from those categories. If you have not selected interests yet, Discovery shows a mixed selection from different topics. Guests also see mixed public content.
Joined
Joined is your personal feed. It is intentionally kept clean and focused.
Joined shows your own posts, posts from channels you joined and posts from profiles you follow or joined. Category interests do not automatically flood this feed with every post from that topic. This keeps Joined useful even when the platform has many channels and many posts.
Channels
Channels are community areas for specific topics. A channel can belong to a country and to one category.
For example, a channel can be a German meme channel, a global crypto channel, a local news channel, a vintage art channel or a future technology channel. Posts inside a channel inherit the channel category automatically, so users do not need to choose a category for every post.
Categories and interests
Categories describe the main topic of a channel. Examples are Memes, News, Tech, Gaming, Sports, Politics, Entertainment, Crypto, Auto, Questions, Local and Other.
Users can select categories as interests during registration or later in Search. These interests help the app recommend better channels and posts in Discovery. They are not the same as joining a channel. Joining a channel means its posts appear in Joined. Selecting an interest means the platform can use it for recommendations.
Countries and regions
Posts and channels can be connected to countries. Users can filter content globally, by Europe or by a specific country.
Global shows content from everywhere. Europe shows content from countries marked as European by the admin. A country filter, such as Germany or Bosnia and Herzegovina, shows only content assigned to that country.
Creating posts
Users can create posts with text, uploaded media or links. A post can include a title, body text, images, videos and a link preview.
When a user adds a link, TumbPix can automatically create a preview and fill missing title or text information from the page description, depending on the admin settings. User-written content is not overwritten.
Users can also post anonymously if anonymous posting is enabled by the admin. Anonymous posts hide the public author name while still keeping the platform manageable internally.
Comments
Posts can have comments. Users can write text comments and, where allowed, upload images in comments.
If anonymous comments are enabled by the admin, users can also comment anonymously. This allows more open discussion while keeping moderation tools available.
Search
Search helps users find posts, channels, users and categories.
The Categories area lets users select or remove interests. Clicking a category can show posts from channels that belong to that category. Search also respects the country filter, so users can search globally or within a specific country.
Profiles
Every user has a profile with a username, bio, avatar and cover area. If no avatar is uploaded, the app shows the first letter of the username. If no cover image is uploaded, the profile header shows the @username.
Profiles can contain posts, comments and channels. Other users can follow or join profiles so their content can appear in Joined.
Registration
Registration is split into simple steps. New users enter account details, confirm required pages, solve the captcha, choose a username, optionally upload an avatar, add a bio and select interests.
The username is checked in real time. A green message means the username is available. A red message means it is already taken or invalid.
Guests
Guests can browse public Discovery content, posts, channels and profiles. Creating posts, commenting, voting, saving content, joining channels and choosing interests requires an account.

The goal is simple: help people discover interesting posts and channels while keeping personal feeds clean, understandable and easy to control.
